Built in 2013, the Custom Shop nailed the look, feel and sound with this one.  Aesthetically, it's hard to get cooler than Aged Lake Placid Blue with an Anodized Gold pickguard.  The Relic treatment was done perfectly, as in it's tastefully applied, with the wear in all of the right places.   This Strat is lightweight, acoustically loud and resonant, plays like butter, and sounds even better!  It features a comfortable 10/56 “V” neck shape - period correct, with a real vintage feel.  The 9.5” fingerboard radius combined with the 6105 (Narrow Tall) frets add a modern touch and help to make this a player’s dream.

Custom Fat 50s pickups make the guitar sing beautifully and will bring a smile to your ears.  This is a calibrated set, constructed with hand-beveled, staggered Alnico V magnets and Formvar magnet wire and they deliver enhanced bass response without the harsh midrange. Thankfully, Fender equipped this guitar with a modern 5-way selector switch for another moden touch.

For the classic look and feel with all of the spank, sparkle and vibe of a mid 50's Strat, it's hard to beat this.  It's in excellent condition, everything on the guitar is original, and comes with a tweed Fender Custom Shop case and Certificate of Authenticity.  The techs in our shop have set it up to play perfectly - this one is ready to go, and a great deal.  We don't think it will last long here!
