Used Epiphone Jack Casady Bass Sunburst With OHSC
Up for sale is the most popular hollowbody bass ever, the Epiphone Jack Casady!! This Sunburst marvel was designed by Rock and Roll Hall of Fame legend Jack Casady and represents the tastes and lessons of his sonic experiences with psychedelic legends Jefferson Airplane and Hot Tuna. The bassist sought to find an instrument with superior electric tone and the response of an acoustic bass, and got it with this model.
This epic bass features the Casady-designed JCB low-impedance pickup and a three-position rotary impedance control for a wide range of tonal versatility. You can get a surprisingly wide variety of sounds out of this bass, and it brings a lot to the table. It has resonant layered maple for incredible acoustics. It's powered by a JCB-1 Low-Impedance Humbucker for thick punchy tones. You can easily find your sounds with a Master Volume and Tone controls. And combined with the 3-position Varitone switch there is a wide range of tones to choose from.
This bass is the rare Sunburst version made for only a few year. It's in great condition with just a touch of honest player wear but nothing major, and has been setup to play perfectly by the techs in our shop. By the way, it has flatwound strings on it, just like it should! This is a great score.
