Vintage 1985 Fender Katana Green Metallic Electric Guitar With OHSC
Now here's something you don't see every day, or ever....
It's the original Fender Katana, crafted in Japan, way back in 1985. This rarely seen model was made for a very short period of time, and are very, very hard to find. Not to mention unique!
The 80's were a different time, and Fender was trying to find its footing along various other brands making "pointy" guitars. Misguided as it may seem now, it did highlight a special time for the company. One of the results was one of the most unique models in the long & illustrious history of Fender.
This particular Katana is in relatively good shape, though years of playing are evident. It has a beautiful Green Metallic finish with gold accents. It's truly a sight to behold. It has a very fast and smooth playing neck, locking trem (sorry, no arm was included when it came in) and dual humbuckers. Comes with the original hardshell case (custom fit for the body), which makes this an even more attractive find.
