Made with back and sides of layered sapele, this Grand Concert guitar features a smaller body shape that will feel welcoming to players of all ability levels. A solid Sitka spruce top serves up vibrant, articulate acoustic tone, and despite its compact frame, the Academy 12e powers enough room-filling sound to perform effectively as a stage guitar or practice instrument—whichever suits your needs. An armrest, usually found only in high-end Taylor models, lends the guitar an even more welcoming feel, while the built-in ES-B electronics make it easy to plug in and play through any amplifier. A digital tuner with an LED display is also included with the onboard pickup. This model ships with a soft, lightweight gig bag.
