We just took in a super clean Fender Kurt Cobain Jag-Stang, which we're thrilled about - we've carried this model since it was released, but it's no longer in production, so when used one comes in the door, we jump on it.

In the world of music, few individuals have had the impact and lasting influence that Kurt Cobain and his band Nirvana have. Their arrival in the early '90s brought a revolutionary sound blending heavy tones, punk-inspired energy, and catchy melodies, capturing the hearts of millions and solidifying grunge and alternative rock as a legitimate mainstream genre.

Kurt has been known for playing various Fender guitars, but his Fender Jaguar® and Mustang® are the most famous for being used on the "Nevermind" tour and "Smells Like Teen Spirit" music video. In 1993, with the assistance of the Fender Custom Shop, Kurt created the Jag-Stang® by combining his favorite features from both instruments.

In honor of Nirvana's "Nevermind" reaching its 30th anniversary, this Jag-Stang retains all the features that made it Kurt's preferred instrument. Its alder body produces a powerful, punchy sound tailor-made for heavy chords, while the 24" short-scale length decreases string tension for effortless playing. The 7.25" radius rosewood fingerboard and maple neck provide a comfortable, fatigue-free grip for chord playing. With vintage-style single-coil and custom humbucking pickups, this guitar can easily replicate Kurt's iconic tones. Plus, the Mustang slider switches allow for four distinct settings, offering a range of in or out-of-phase sounds.

This one is in excellent condition, comes with the gig bag, and has been setup to play perfectly by the techs in our shop.  It's ready to go - and may go fast.
