Pre-Owned 2018 Gibson Gary Clark Jr. Signature SG Junior 3P90 Vintage Cherry With OHSC
The Gibson Gary Clark Jr. Signature SG Junior was released in late 2017 as part of the regular model lineup. It draws heavily from the discontinued '61 Reissue design and was not subject to production limits. However, its rarity due to being discontinued by Gibson makes it a sought-after item.
The SG has been around for decades and utilized by countless players, from Tony Iommi to Jerry Garcia. It continues to live on stages today, and perhaps no one has put it to as good use recently as Gary Clark Jr. While most SG's have 2 pickups, his signature model goes in a different direction, with a trio of P90 pickups. This will provide you with everything from organic, subtle cleans to all out aggression, with a ton of dynamic response.
The guitar also boasts a mahogany body, Slim Taper mahogany neck, mother of pearl trapezoid inlaid rosewood fingerboard, an ABR bridge with aluminum stoptail, and locking Grover tuners. In some ways it's a classic SG, and in others it is an all new animal.
The guitar is in excellent condition and has been setup to play perfectly by the techs in our shop. The original hardshell case is included, and it's ready to go!
