Pre Owned 2015 Gibson ES-Les Paul (no F-Hole) Lightburst Made in Memphis with OHSC
Sometimes there are guitars that really blur the lines and this is a prime example. This Gibson ES Les Paul with no F-Holes in the bright and beautiful Lightburst finish, redefines what a semi-hollowbody guitar is all about. This small run production guitar was extremely limited to 100 models in the US and 200 worldwide, making it quite the rare bird. While you'll see plenty of ES Les Pauls with f-holes, finding the version without f-holes like this one is tough. We were trhilled to see it come in.
You still get the quintessential single-cut mahogany body with a flame maple top and "C" profile mahogany neck. However, with its semi-hollow chamber with Adirondack bracing you get the airy tone of a semi-hollow balanced with more warmth because there are no F-holes. This Gibson ES Les Paul was made in the Memphis factory (not Nashville) in 2015 and has been kept in great shape.
The guitar is super comfortable to play - the rounded C-shaped neck brings a fast, smooth feel. The 12" radius makes bending no problem, especially with the rolled fingerboard edges. It features a pair MHS (Memphis Historic Spec) humbuckers, an Alnico III for the neck, and and Alnico II for the bridge. This combination gives you a wide range of tones, whether it's smooth warm clean tones or edgey distorted tones and everything between. As an added bonus, the ABR-1 bridge has titanium saddles.
This guitar is in great condition and comes with its original hardshell case, as well as the Certificate of Authenticity. It's been setup to play perfectly by the techs in our shop. This is truly a rare one - only 100 were made!
