Pre Owned 2012 Gibson Custom Shop ‘57 Les Paul Reissue Aged Gold Top With OHSC
We have an excellent reissue of the iconic 1957 Gibson Les Paul Goldtop - a legendary guitar for sure. We've had a LOT of Les Pauls here, and lately this has been one of the best, especially for those that like aged guitars.
Here is this impressive Gibson Custom Shop '57 Les Paul wfrom 2012, a great era for the iconic brand. This is everything you'd want from a historic reissue of the pivotal year for the Les Paul. 1957 was when Gibson first used humbuckers and forever changed the musical landscape. This reissue honors that legacy with high-quality components and time-honored construction to get you legendary tones with the most comfortable feel.
This historic reissue Les Paul comes with the classic tonewood combination of a mahogany body with a maple top. This combo gives you resonance, warmth from the body while the stiffness of the top gives you plenty of snap and brightness. This special Les Paul comes with an aged gold top finish that brings both the luster and vintage vibes. Both neck and body feature the distinct cream binding adding style and comfort. Its mahogany neck comes with a rounded 50s neck profile and 12" radius that is a bit thicker than the modern profiles and is quite comfortable. It comes with a rosewood fingerboard with the classic block inlays and 22 historic narrow tall frets for a true vintage feel.
The electronics of any electric guitar are incredibly important and this historic reissue provides you an excellent bedrock of pickups for incredible vintage tones. You get a Burstbucker 1 and Burstbucker 2 in the neck and bridge positions. These pickups easily provide legendary thick, dynamic tones that are equally excellent with clean or dirtier amp settings with ample sustain. This combined with its individual volume and tone controls for each pickup and 3-way pickup selector, make it incredibly easy to find your favorite sounds. Need thick rhythms, throw it on the neck pickup. Want cutting leads, throw it on the bridge pickup. Either way, it's pure vintage vibe all day all the way.
This reissue comes with its stopbar tailpiece, tune-o-matic bridge, and classic Kluson tuners. All in all this is an incredible instrument especially for the player looking for a classic aged Goldtop!
