Vintage 1969/70 Fender Silverface Deluxe Reverb Guitar Amp Combo With Footswitch

Used And Vintage Amps

A Fender Deluxe Reverb is one of the most iconic amps in the history of amp.  This has been the "go to" model of choice for a number of players since it debuted.  The 60s and 70s "silverface" era amps have taken on a life of their own - after being originally shunned by the vintage market, they've taken on a life of their own with a new generation of players, to the point where Fender reissued them a few years back.  Vintage pieces, especially affordable ones like this, have become highly desirable.

20 watts and a single 12" speaker, powered and voiced by  a mix of 6V6, 12AX7 and 5AR4 tubes, gives you all the tone you'll ever need.

For a lot of players, this look is the coolest look, but they want the sound of the "Blackface" era.  A previous owner of this amp went for it in full, and had legendary local L.A. amp guru Bob Dixon for a full "Blackface" conversion.  The circuit was converted back to the "Blackface" specs, to take it back to the golden era of the Deluxe Reverb, which is commonly known at 1963 - 1967.  It's a relatively simple procedure (for a qualified amp tech) .  The result is that this amps sounds as good as any mid-60's Deluxe Reverb, but at a much lower price.

The condition of this Deluxe Reverb is very good, especially considering its age.  Be sure to check out the photos to see everything.  It's a great score, and any of vintage Fender amps should take note of this one!
We had this amp vetted, so we could present it properly.  To the best of our knowledge, here's a list of what work was done:
    • Amp completely converted to Blackface AB763 circuit
    • Speaker baffle re-attached
    • Footswitch wire and RCA ends replaced
    • Resoldered connections in preamp high voltage supply
    • All tubes, capacitors, electrolytic caps, resistors, voltage and bias all tested to good working order
    Serial # A32563
