During the spring of 1985, several Kalamazoo guitar luthiers, passionate about the tradition of handcrafting beautiful high quality electric guitars, purchased space at the iconic 225 Parsons Street factory along with its original guitar-making equipment. Today, Heritage is defined by the unwavering approach to cutting-edge craftsmanship.
This fully hollow, double cutaway is the lightest guitar in the Heritage lineup. Constructed using the same laminate maple rim set as the H-535 model, the open construction and lack of a full center block, allows this guitar to breathe naturally. The H-530 comes with an amazing yet familiar feel, and is perfectly suitable for jazz, rock and everything in between.
The addition of a set of Lollar P-90s, provides warm and growling tones that many players seeking a vintage tone desire. Scatter wound with degaussed Alnico 5 bar magnets, these pickups provide an instantly recognizable vintage guitar tone.
This fine instrument's fully hollow, double cutaway body construction unlocks plenty of acoustic tone and a fast, punchy attack. The H-530 is for those looking for a thinline hollow body with versatility to play both jazz and rock, as well as other styles.
