Uniting the coolest vintage features with a unique pickup combination and a few modern favorites, the Limited Edition Relic Tele Custom that we just received is an exceptional guitar that immediately stood out against the other Tele's we have here.  This tasteful mélange of ingredients has been thoughtfully selected for authentic, flexible Fender tone.  Not to mention the pure rock 'n' roll vibe that this Tele exudes....we're sure you can think of at least one famous Tele player known to strap one of these on.

The select ash body is super lightweight and be comfortable to play standing up all night.  The thin lacquer finish is authentic, and the Aged Black color give's it a classic, old-school aesthetic.  

The guitar features a Quartersawn AA Flame Maple neck - not only does it look great, but also is extremely stable.  The super comfortable 60's Oval "C" neck carve makes it easy and fast to play.  The 6105 frets (narrow tall) and 9.5" radius give a slightly more modern feel, allowing you to bend to your heart's content without fretting out.  These 3 specs are the most commonly requested on a Custom Shop guitar, which is why we picked them for this Tele.

Handwound pickups (normally an upcharge) give you the classic 70's Tele sound mixed with a bit of 50's twang to help cut through the mix.  The neck is a Wide-Range CuNifFe humbucker, recently redesigned by Fender's vintage pickup experts, to give you the true recreation of what early 70's Tele humbuckers.  The bridge pickup is what's known as an Original Blackguard (or Broadcaster), which is what gives you the extra twang usually only heard on an early 50's Tele.  It's the most requested pickup on Custom Shop Tele's, for good reason - they are the epitome of the classic Tele sound.  With those 2 pickups combined, this Tele gives you everything you need.
